Its been ten years since Chrome made a public debut and ever since its appearance to the world, Chrome received its first major update in 2018 (eight years ago) to change the user experience. What’s new in Chrome 69?

User Interface:

This is the biggest change in the Chrome 69 update, the revamped UI now features rounded tabs with a white colour tone which show the current tab by drawing a line between the conventionally used grey coloured interface with angular tabs. Of course, the new interface is an integration of Google’s Material design that has been adopted by developers over their years and also now the core of the design of Google products.

Password Manager:

Another interesting feature is the improved password manager. With Chrome 69, Chrome will now generate a random password that is uncrackable every time you sign up for a website. These passwords will be stored in the password store if enabled by the user, however, users must be must be logged in to their Google account if to use this new security feature.

Personalization:

Now, you can easily personalize Chrome by adding pictures to your tab background. However, you can only use predefined backgrounds, for now, hopefully, Chrome will let users use custom backgrounds too in future updates. Also, you have the new shortcut style and the “Add Shortcut” button to add a new tab page.

Omnibox:

Until now, when we want to search for something we make use of the Google search directly and get results on a new page, but with the new address bar in the Chrome browser, also known as “Omnibox,” you can now get search result from the address bar itself without opening a new page or tab. But, this feature is limited to the queries related to celebrities, weather, and sporting events.

Dino Game Easter Egg:
