Facebook long-awaited dark mode feature is finally rolling out to mobile users. The dark mode feature was first made available in the Facebook lite app for mobile users back in February. The feature has also been enabled on Instagram, WhatsApp and its Messenger app for quite sometime now and is finally coming to the parent app.
In the latest development, Facebook has confirmed it is rolling out dark mode for it’s parent social media app, however, it is only being distributed to a small percentage of users globally. Some iOS users already confirmed the new inclusion of the dark mode option in the Facebook app for iOS.
The company has not revealed when the new feature will roll out to more users but fans seems to be happy that dark mode is finally coming to Facebook app. The new feature will help reduce eye strain and give better reading light for user at night or in dark places.
As I mentioned earlier, the dark mode feature is only being rolled out to a small percentage of users globally, and since it is not exclusive to a particular country, you can try updating your Facebook app to the latest update and see if you have the dark mode option.
