Facebook Hamburger Menu Gets A Redesign

Facebook started rolling out dark mode for WhatsApp and Facebook Lite recently and while we’re still waiting to meet the dark mode feature on the parent app Facebook, the company has decided to give the hamburger menu in its app a redesign.

This evening I was just browsing through my Facebook feeds and decided to navigate to my profile, and I got a whole new layout and it looks really nice.

The new hamburger menu features a new grid layout while offering a blue gradient background, deep on the top and light when you go down the menu. In the screenshot above, you’ll notice a wide-rectangular card which indicates “Videos on Watch,” it disappears and reappears while I was trying to figure out what’s new in this interface but I really don’t know know what the card is useful for. My guess is, the card will be showing you highlights occasionally, or maybe something else.

The more option, help and support, and settings option maintains the traditional list view, however, it gets a responsive rectangular bar touch. If you look at the above screenshot, you’ll notice the list settings and privacy list a 3D-like view with spacing in between each option.

If you’re not seeing the new Facebook Hamburger Menu, update your app and discover the new design.

I’ll be checking to see if there are more new features, so stay tuned. Kindly subscribe to our push notification to receive notification on new updates.
