MTN already has launched a 1GB for N200 data plan in the past, which is still one of the cheapest data plans to date, and plenty other amazing offers like N3500 for 20GB, N5000 for 30GB etc.
While all MTN data plans we’ve seen in the past comes with a USSD code for activation, the new MTN 1.5GB for N300 plan will require that you have the MyMtn App installed on your device.
I guess MTN is trying to get users to use their app in other to reach a milestone.
I have been using the MTN 1GB for N200 data plan for a while now, and if their’s one thing I like about it, it will be the fact that it doesn’t zap. I use the data plan for downloading most of the time and it works seamlessly on all mobile devices, whether 3G or 4G.
How to Activate MTN 1.5GB for N300 Data Plan
To activate the new MTN 1.5GB for N300 on your SIM, you need to download and install the MyMTN app from Google Play store or if you already have, proceed with the steps below.
- Launch MyMTN app on your device once installed.
- On the main menu, you’ll see a Quick Access tab with several offers and options.
- Click on Mega Deal Zone and you’ll be taken to another page titled Crack The Egg.
- Tap on the egg with label Bundle.
- You’ll get a new screen that says Get 1.5GB data for as low as N300 only.
- Tap on accept, N300 will be deducted from your Sim and you’ll be credited with 1.5GB to browse.
The validity of this plan is 7 days. You can discover more of these amazing data offers in the MyMTN app.
If you’re looking for USSD code to activate this plan… Well, there’s no USSD code for it.😋
More importantly, new MTN 1.5GB for N300 data plan may be Sim selective like the 1GB for N200 data plan but it will most likely work for all users already enjoying the 1GB for N200 data plan, however, you can give it a shot and tell us if are eligible for the offer or probably you got a different one in the comment.
