The Chinese tech giant, Huawei has launched Nova 5z, the company’s latest offering in the mid-range smartphone segment in China. Interestingly, Hauwei’s Nova 5z bags the same feature as the Nov 5i Pro that was launched in July at a cheaper rate.
If you’ve got your eyes on the Nova i5 Pro, I’ll say leave it and go for Nova 5z.
Huawei Nova 5z features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ infinity-O display (hole punch display). The device features a quad-camera setup on the rear with an LED flash.
The device doesn’t disappoint in the photography segment as it boast off a 48MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP camera for 2cm macro and another 2MP camera for depth sensing in portrait shots.
As for the selfie camera, a 32-megapixel sited in the hole punch display and packed with AI features like AR, Bokeh, Potrait etc.
Nova 5z is powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC with 6GB RAM, 64/128GB built-in storage. It runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with Huawei’s EMUI 9.1 skin.
It is fueled by a 4000mAh battery which come with 20W fast charging support that can give you 50% charge in 30 minutes.

The 6GB + 64GB storage option will be priced at US$ 226, there’s no words on the 128GB option, it probably would cost around 310 which is equivalent to the Nova i5 Pro. The device is only avialable to the Chinese market and no words on going global.
