Infinixmobility has launched the successor to its Hot 9 device which launched earlier this year, the Infinix Hot 10. The device features a bezel-less hole-punch display, comes with MediaTek Helio G70 gaming Soc, up to 6GB of RAM and a gigantic battery.
Infinix is now focusing more on high performance devices to compete with other big brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, Nokia, Oppo, Realme etc. in the mid-range segment. This is a great move from the Transsion subsidiary but we would also like to see the company bring back Qualcomm powered devices.
Infinix Hot 10 Specifications And Features
The Infinix Hot 10 device comes with a 6.82-inch IPS LCD capacity touchscreen HD+ cinematic display with a 1640 X 720 resolution, 20.5:9 full view ratio, 16M colours and supports multiple touches up to 5 fingers. It measures 171.1 x 77.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 195 grams. The Hote device comes with glass protection on the front and uses a plastic back and frame.
The devices houses a single 8MP selfie camera in the front and a quad-camera setup n the rear including a 16MP main camera (wide), a PDAF + 2MP macro sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a QVGA (Low light sensor) with quad-LED flash. The device uses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and there is support for face recognition unlock. The camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
The Hot 10 device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G70 Soc with Mali-G52 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a Micro-SD card slot. The Infinix Hot 10 runs XOS 7.0 based on Android 10 and will be available in four memory options.
Infinix Hot 10 is fueled by a 5200mAh battery capacity with support for 10W fast charging via a USB 2.0 port for charging and also supports USB OTG. Other features include Dual 4G LTE, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm jack and sensors onboard are fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Infinix Hot 10 Pricing And Availability
The Infinix Hot 10 comes in Obsidian Black, Amber Red, Moonlight Jade, and Ocean Wave colour options and is expected to start pricing at $129 (approx NGN 49,041/50,000). The device will have a 3GB/64GB storage option, 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and the top of the line version, a 6GB/128GB version.
