Infinix has finally launched a sequel to the Hot 8 that was launch in 2019, the Infinix Hot 9. The budget smartphone made its debuts in Indonesia and comes with a few upgrades.
The Infinix Hot 9 smartphone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that offers HD+ resolution. Unlike Infinix Hot 8, the back panel of the Hot 9 is made from a polycarbonate material which will be available in Matte Black, Cyan, Violet, and Light Blue colour options.

Infinix Hot 9 sees an upgrade in the processor segment, it uses a more recent octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM, expandable 128GB storage.

In the camera department, Hot 9 also gained a little upgrade, while the Hot 8 boasts of a 13MP main camera, Hot 9 houses a 16MP primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP secondary macro lens, and a 2MP low-light tertiary lens. as for the selfie shooter, there is an 8MP cam with AI features like AR Emojis, Stickers etc.
The fingerprint scanner is right next to the triple camera setup on the rear.
The device is dual 4G-enabled with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port. Infinix hot 9 uses DTS Audio Technology to deliver great sound for audios and in-game sounds.
Hot 9 runs XOS 6.0 based on the latest Android 10 OS and fueled by a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

Hot 9 is priced at Rp 1,699,000 (approx. $104) and exclusive to Indonesia at the moment, with no information yet as to when it will be available globally.
