Infinix Zero 8 with Helio G90T Gaming Chipset, 90Hz Display Spotted On Google’s Play Console Listing

Infinix Zero 8 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, a dual selfie camera, and a 64MP primary rear camera

Infinix Mobile is gradually stepping up its smartphone game, with the launch of the Note 7, the company was able to convince fans that it has more great plans in store. Following the launch of the Note 7, Infinix also introduced it first smart TV S1 with great design, specs and feature. And now, the company seems to be gearing up for it next big smartphone launch, the Infinix Zero 8.

Infinix Zero 8 has been spotted on Google Play Console listing, this is coming a few days after the Infinix Hot 10 also appeared on Google’s Play Console featuring MediaTek Helio G70 gaming Soc, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

The two device appearing in the same period could mean that Infinix plans to launch the Hot 10 and Zero 8 together. The Infinix Zero 8, however, will be coming in two version, Zero 8 and Zero 8i. If my guesses are correct, the Zero 8i will be exclusive to Indian while the base Zero 8 will be the global variant.

The Infinix Zero 8 will be succeeding the Zero 6 since the company decided to skip the infinix Zero 7. Zero 8 is expected to launch with a 7-inch display with 1080 x 2460 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate and dual punch-hole selfie camera.

The Zero will be a great competitor in the mid-range segment, thanks to the MediaTek Helio G90 gaming Soc onboard (however, a leaked promotional video suggest Helio G90T), Mali G76 paired with up to 8GB RAM. The device will have a quad camera setup in a prism-like module, a 64MP primary sensor, and three other AI sensors.

The selfie camera setup will include a 48MP primary lens and an 8MP wide-angle lens with AI features and security like Face unlock. The device will use a side-mounted fingerprint as well.

Infinix Zero 8 leaked promotional video:

The leaked promotional video reveals a Ultra Night Mode and 960fps slow-motion recording. I think the base model will be the featuring Helio G90 SoC while the Zero 8i or Zero 8 Pro as some reports suggest will house the Helio G90T..

Speaking of the Zero 8 pricing and availability, we’ll have to wait until company announces the device. More information regarding the device is expected in the coming weeks.
