New Intel Graphics Drivers Improves Gaming Performance

When it comes to gaming on PC, there are lots of people who still rely on their built-in Intel graphics to play games. Running high-end games on built-in graphics often result in low fps, heating up of the system, and in some cases, the game won’t even start. However, there are still some games that run fine on Intel graphics drivers when the system settings have been tweaked to improve quality and performance.

New Intel Graphics Drivers Improves Gaming Performance

Intel graphics drivers update introduces a new feature which automatically configures games settings on 6th Gen Core CPUs or higher with Intel Graphics to boost gaming experience. This new feature will also be available on the upcoming machines with 8th GEN Core with Radeon RX Vega M cards.

In case you’re having the above-mentioned CPUs and you’ve downloaded the latest drivers, you’ll find the ‘Gaming icon‘ in Graphics Control Panel.

List of Supported Games by new Intel drivers

Meanwhile, not all games are supported on the new Intel drivers. For supported hardware, the following list of games with support are:

  • Battlefield 1 & Battlefield 4
  • American Truck Simulator
  • Call of Duty WWII
  • Destiny 2
  • DOTA 2
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch, and World of Tanks.

You can play the above-listed games on supported hardware without any issues regarding fps or heating.

If you’re running a more advanced CPU model with Intel Graphics 620 or better, you can play:

  • Fortnite: Battle Royale
  • They Are Billions
  • Lost Sphear
  • Age of Empires: Definitive Edition
  • Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age HD
  • OK KO: Let’s Play Heroes
  • Subnautica
  • Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, and Dragon Ball FighterZ.

On Intel’s Iris Pro hardware, you can play Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The company claims it will add more games soon.

Download the Intel Graphic drivers update here. At the moment, this game configuration functionality is in beta phase. So, do expect some more changes in near future.
