One thing that keeps WhatsApp on the forefront as much as I know is their frequent update. Always improving the App in one way or the other, making it more interesting and easier to use. Over the last few months, Whatsapp features like pinning important chats on top, and the photo status impressed. Also, the latest WhatsApp can now share any kind of file.
Latest WhatsApp Update Will Make Change of Phone Number Public
Whatsapp will now improve the change number feature on the Android, iOS and window devices. Whatsapp is looking at making the change process flawless and without no consequences. The last time I used the change phone number feature, I had to go round my contacts one after the other saying ‘Hey, here’s my new number’. All thanks to the upcoming update, I will no longer have to sweat about notifying contacts.

A WhatsApp user will change his WhatsApp number and data will be moved from the old number to the new one. Meaning chats and others are retained with no loss, group members in existing groups will be notified of the change.

But with the latest feature rolling out, users will have the chance to notify their contacts automatically. Whatsapp users can notify some or all of their contacts, there’s also an option to notify unsaved numbers they’ve had a chat with, and they can choose to notify none as well. Although, groups will always be notified you have the chance to choose if contacts will be notified. Once they are notified, they can easily send messages via the new number.
The latest Whatsapp update is currently available for WhatsApp beta v2.18.97 which you can download from Google Play store for Android. iOS and windows phone users will receive theirs in the upcoming update.
