While Smartphone manufacturers are now picking the Android Go smartphone production, the US-based smartphone manufacturer, Motorola recently announced Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition, a downgraded version of the E5 Play loaded with Android Go apps.
Moto E5 Play Without Android Go
The Regular Moto E5 Play already launched in the US on April 19th of this year. Moto E5 play has a 5.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio display on a Snapdragon 425, Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor accompanied by 2GB RAM memory and 16GB internal storage.
The device captures the moment with the 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie cam. Adreno 308 is present and it runs on latest Android 8.0 (Oreo). Just in case you’re wondering about the network, the device is 4G LTE, all powered by a 2800mAh battery. so you can expect the best of this device.
Moto E5 Play goes for around $160. It quiet cheap, however, if you feel this device is still expensive, then the Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition is what you need.
Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition
Suprisenly, the Moto E5 Play Android Go edition looks more attractive if not for the presence of 1GB RAM memory. It’s an Android Go smartphone, I guess I don’t need to worry since every Android Go smartphone till date are backed with 1GB of RAM memory.
I’m still wondering why the Moto E5 Play wasn’t called Moto E5 Go instead, that “makes a lot more sense”.
Moto E5 Go edition features a 5.3-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 – wider than the regular E5. When you look on the back of the device at first you may not notice anything aside from the camera and the company’s logo place inside a carved circle just beneath the camera which is one of the company’s fashion. But in this regard, the Moto E5 has a fingerprint sensor on that same spot underneath the logo.
Other specs of this device are similar to the regular E5 Play and it is priced around $126. According to the company, the Android Go edition E5 Play will only be available in various countries in Europe and Latin America.
