Meet Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8 Pro Rival, Realme XT

While we’re waiting for the official launch of the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone from Xiaomi, Realme, a Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer has teased a competitor smartphone, Realme XT.

The company’s took to their social media handle today to reveal the first look of the device. At the Realme 5 series launch event, the company said that the Realme 64MP camera smartphone will be called Realme XT.

Realme XT will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-V display that produces full HD+ resolution. The display will also be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor similar to the Realme X, giving the device a cleaner look on the outside.

Realme XT will be powered by the Snapdragon 712 chipset coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The smartphone will be equipped with quad camera set up similar to the Redmi Note 8 Pro, a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary lens, an 8PM ultrawide lens, a 2MP dedicated macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor and on the teardrop notch, a 16-megapixel selfie camera will be mounted

The device will come preloaded with Android 9.0 Pie OS featuring ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. The device will be fueled by 4,000mAh battery that carries support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Realms XT is expected to be available in the market in September, however, there’s no words on the pricing yet, but will be one of the best budget smartphone.
