Xiaomi has just announced its latest budget flagship device, Redmi K30 Pro, a sequel to the 2019’s flagship killer, Redmi K20 Pro. Redmi K30 Pro is Xiaomi’s new performance champion and bags impressive upgrades over its predecessor.
Redmi K30 also comes with a special edition which has a slightly higher camera concentration, it is called Zoom edition, however, features the same specs as the standard K30 Pro.
The Redmi K30 Pro continues will a pop-up camera to render a full edge to edge display on a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen with HDR10+, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
While the Redmi K20 Pro of last year displayed a triple camera setup, Redmi K30 Pro displays a quad-camera setup arranged on a ring bump. It also comes with a 3D glass back with AG technology a the back also with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection,

The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 Soc which comes with support for 5G. There is a 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, and 4D vibration to deliver a great gaming experience on the device.
It is assisted with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage and runs Android 10 out of the box with MIUI 11.
In the camera department, Redmi K30 Pro boasts of a 64MP Sony IMX686 1/1.7″ sensor which can shoot up to 8K recording, a 13MP ultra-wide shooter (123 degrees), 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP telephoto macro lens which is swapped out for an 8MP telephoto lens on the Zoom Edition that can shoot up to 30x hybrid zoom.
The pop-up mechanism houses a 20MP selfie shooter with a 3D sensing system that can quickly sense falling and retreats and has built-in custom fall protection spring which can also provide another layer of shock protection. The built-in notification LED now supports 5 colours.
The device is equipped with Super Bluetooth chip + Bluetooth 5.1, which can effectively expand the range of Bluetooth signal up to 400 meters without disconnection and lower latency. There’s also NFC, Hi-Res audio support and Water-resistant (IP53).
It the Under the hood, there’s a 4700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging that can charge the phone fully in 63 minutes.
