While we’re waiting for the tech giant Apple to hit the smartphone space this year, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s most reliable analysts have published his report as to what Apple has planned for 2019. The report suggests that Apple will continue its tradition of a three iPhones lineup in 2019 with two OLED models and an LCD model.
While other manufacturers have kicked off their game with hefty RAM memory (6GB, 8GB, 10GB, and 12GB), the American tech giant has found no interesting need to incorporate a huge RAM in its devices yet. However, Kuo said that the iPhone XR successor would see an increase in RAM, 4GB of RAM to say and all the 2019 iPhones will come with the wireless charging feature (ability to charge other devices). He also said the 2019 iPhones will house a triple camera setup and larger batteries.
According to Kuo, “The new 5.8″ OLED may support DSDS, and the new 6.1″ LCD may be upgraded to 4GB. All of part of the new models’ main upgrades include Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) for indoor positioning and navigation, frosted glass casing, bilateral wireless charging for charging other devices, upgraded Face ID (with a higher power flood illumination), larger batteries, and triple camera feature (wide, telephoto, and ultra-wide lens).”
He further said Apple is may not be using the USB Type-C in its devices rather, they’ll continue with lightning connectors. Rumors have suggested Apple might shrink its notch area but Kuo thinks Apple is not concerned about shrinking the notch whatsoever. But we might actually get to see a
Kuo also gave predictions about some other Apple products and according to him, that the American giant might launch two new iPad Pro models, an iPad Mini 5 and a 6K display with Mini-LED like backlight design in 2019.
