At the Samsung Developer conference last month, the South Korean tech giant introduced a new set of display types, the Infinity-O display being one of them. Samsung knows it games well and has decided to make the Samsung Galaxy A8s the first device in the world to use the Infinity-O.
The Samsung Galaxy A8s sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O display as its main USP. With the new display, Samsung has been able to make way for really thin bezels with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio.
The Galaxy A8s comes with a glossy finish and aluminum built and available in three color variant, blue, green, and silver color. As for the cameras, the device comes with a 4-camera setup, 3 rear cameras, and a single selfie camera. The main camera is rated at 24-megapixel (ultra-wide lens), 10-megapixel (telephoto lens), and 5-megapixel (depth sensor). The selfie camera, however, features a 24-megapixel which is housed in the hole. Also, you’ll find a fingerprint sensor at the back and the company’s logo printed just below it.
The Galaxy A8s runs on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with Kyro 360 CPU coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Lastly, the smartphone runs the most recent Android 8.1 Oreo OS along with Samsung’s Experience UI 9.5. There is no word on the battery capacity yet nor the price and availability. So, stay connected for more update on the device.
