I guess we’re finally seeing a quad-camera smartphone after a lot of rumors. Just like I have said in a previous article, it seems smartphone manufacturers are not only competing for performance but also making the camera a top priority.
Just a few days ago the tech giant Google announced its new A.I powered Pixel 3 device with an amazing camera and one of the best we’ve seen this year. Now, however, the tech giant Samsung has also announced the Galaxy A9 smartphone, featuring a four-camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 With Four Rear Camera
In July, there were rumors regarding Samsung launching a five-camera smartphone and later in September, another rumor got in the air that Samsung may unveil a four-camera smartphone. Although some other manufacturers had claimed that they’ll be first to make this happen, the South Korean tech giant decided to get the headline by introducing the Samsung Galaxy A9 first.
Samsung announced the Galaxy A9 2018 edition at an event held in Malaysia (4x Fun event) with four powerful cameras. While everyone will be concentrated on the camera, it might also surprise you to know that this devices ships with 8GB of RAM.

It’ll surprise you to know that Galaxy A9 is not labelled a flagship device even though it sports features of a true flagship. We all now Samsung focuses more on high-end devices, and mind-blowing flagship but this time the South Korean tech giant has decided to bring a different approach towards their devices.
According to Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh in a show with CNBC, he said;
While this will interest Samsung fans, we’ll also want to see what Samsung has in stock with their new approach.
