Samsung’s 5G Prototype Features A Weird Notch Display

We all know the South Korean tech giant, of course, Samsung has mocked Apple a couple of time regarding the notch display. However, with the new Samsung Infinity screen display introduced at SDC 2018, Samsung finally adopts the notch style display, however, it doesn’t appear like the bathtub notch on Apple devices and many other devices.

A lot of tech company’s has already began testing the 5G network and thanks to the launch of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chip, flagship smartphones will be bringing a 5G connectivity options in 2019.

At Qualcomm’s tech summit, where the chip giant announced it most most powerful chip, the Snapdragon 855, Samsung showed off a 5G prototype of its smartphone. Maybe this is what Samsung has planed or the Galaxy S10, or maybe its just another device we don’t know yet.

The phone was all wrapped in a dark case and its back was hidden. As per Engadget, the smartphone was streaming 4K video using Verizon’s upcoming 5G network.

A 5G smartphone prototype from Samsung with a huge screen cutout at the top-right corner, you’ll agree with me that this is not the best of Samsung. The cutout also houses the front-facing camera but at the same time making the device look “ugly” i guess.
