Would you consider buying a flagship phone with MediaTek’s processor in 2020? If that’s the case, then the new Vivo iQoo Z1 flagship pone would be a great choice to pick. Vivo announced it latest flagship phone iQoo Z1, it features MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 1000 plus chipset which was just announced earlier this month packing an octa-core CPU (4x ARM Cortex-A77 and 4x ARM Cortex-A55), Mali-G77 MP9 GPU, and a six-core APU for machine learning.
The device bags a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD 144Hz screen which beats that of other flagships like the Galaxy S20 series and OnePlus 8 devices. The device houses a single 16MP camera in the hole-punch screen and a triple camera on the rear (48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro).
The Dimensity 1000 plus on the iQoo Z1 is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It runs the latest Android 10 OS with Vivos iQoo UI ontop. The device has a built-in 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging to rely on. With the 44W fast charging tech, Vivo says the the phone will reach 50% in just 23 minutes and 100% battery in 59 minutes. That is pretty impresive.
The Vivo iQoo Z1 also sports sub-6Ghz 5G (but no mmWave) and 5G+5G dual SIM support thanks to the new flagship chipset. Other notable features include USB-C, a 3.5mm port, NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Vivo also released a couple of accessories alongside the iQOO Z1. It includes a 3D texturized covers, a Bluetooth controller with an analog joystick, and a pair of neckband-style wireless earbuds. The accessories can be bought separately and will go on sale alongside the device at a discounted price.
