Microsoft’s next-gen gaming consoles, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X will reportedly launch on Nov 10, 2020.
According to the leaks, Xbox Series S will features a similar design to the Xbox one and will deliver high frame rate on 1080p monitors. The console features a cooling vent on the top and will not have a disc drive.
The video above from Thurrott’s Brad Sams showcases how the Xbox Series S shares more similarities to the Xbox One instead of Xbox Series X and will cost around $299 (NGN 114,068).
The Sony PlayStation 5 rival, on the other hand, Xbox Series X supports 4K resolution with a standard 60 FPS. However, for certain games, frames can go up to 120 FPS in the multiplayer mode.
As we already have known, there will backward compatibility option for games along with a quick resume feature and faster load time in comparison to previous consoles. The Xbox Series X will cost somewhere near $499 (NGN 190,368).
More than 50 games have been planned for Xbox Series X this year across different generations. Some examples are Dirt 5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Gear Tactics, Watch Dogs: Legion, Yazuka: Like a Dragon, and many more. By the way, new games such as Scorn, The Medium, and Tetris Effect Connected will be developed exclusively for Xbox Series X.
