Xiaomi has launched the worlds first Snapdragon 888 smartphone – the Mi 11, and it latest 2020 flagship device. Xiaomi Mi 11 is built around a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED curved edge Dot-Display with 3,200 x 1,440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate and MEMC motion compensation. It uses the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and glass back (Gorilla Glass) or eco leather back.
Mi 11 is powered by flagship and most powerful Snapdragon processor – the Snapdragon 888 5nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 660 GPU and comes in three storage options. An 8GB/128GB, 8GB/25GB and a 12GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage with no expandable storage option.
The device sports a triple camera setup with LED flash on the rear: a 108MP rear camera with 1/ 1.33″ Samsung sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, OIS, LED flash, a 13MP 123° ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP tele-macro camera. The camera is capable of recording 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, and 720p at 960fps.
As for the selfie camera, a 20MP selfie snapper with 0.8μm pixel size is packed into the hole punch display at the top left corner of the device.
The Mi 11 device is dual SIM enabled with 5G and dual 4G VoLTE. It runs the latest MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box and features SOUND BY Harman Kardon. The device uses the in-display fingerprint technology that also supports heart monitoring features. Also, there is Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and NFC.
The phone is fueled by a 4,600mAh battery with 55W wired flash charging that can charge the phone from 0 t0 100% in just 45 minutes. It also supports 50W wireless fast charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

The device starts pricing at CNY3,999 (~$610/€500) for the 8GB/128GB option, 4299 yuan (~$657/€536) for the 8GB/256GB option and CYN4,699 (~$719/€586) for the 12GB/256GB for the highest memory model. The first flash sale is scheduled for January 1, 2021.
