The Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi has recently announced a new product line in its smartphone production dubbed CC which simple means Colourful and Creative. The new ‘CC’ series is being developed by the Xiaomi’s Chic & Cool 90 team. The new CC series will be the third sub-brand smartphone from the Chinese tech giant after Mi and Redmi series.
The new product line is being designed by Xiaomi’s youngest product team (art students) and is expected to look different from the Mi and Redmi devices we’re already used to.
While the Mi and Redmi product line are simply targeted at the general public, the new CC smartphones are targeted at young and creative people (fashion savvy). This could mean that the devices will be less impressive in tech spec but concentrate more on the photography section.
The new CC smartphone will feature aesthetics concept of “Xiaomi X Meitu AI Aesthetics Lab”, combining advanced camera hardware and beauty technology.
Xiaomi CC9 And CC9e Launching In July
Xiaomi is expected to launch two new devices under the CC sub-brand in July as CC9 and CC9e.

The will have a triple camera setup, a 48MP Sony IMX582 with OIS enabled an 8MP secondary sensor and the third lens of 5-megapixel. The triple camera setup will use a flip camera mechanism like the Zenfone 6 which means you’ll also be able to capture great photos using the same camera.
The new CC series is expected to run Xiaomi’s popular MIUI10 based on the most recent Android 9 Pie OS. As for the processor, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6GB/8GB of RAM and may as well come in other storage variants.
The device is expected to be fueled with a 3,500mAh battery that comes with 18W fast charging support via USB-C.

There no word for other tech specs and prices for the new CC line up but it is expected to launch July 2nd.
