Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a new member into its flagship Mi 9 smartphone line, the Mi 9T. The Chinese tech giant already has launched a new flagship killer device earlier this week in China, the Redmi K20 series, and already teasing its next device.
Xiaomi took to the official Twitter handle to announce a new device which will be launching soon, saying ” Here’s the answer! Mi 9T is coming soon! Guess what T stands for? “
Unlike the Mi 9 with a water drop notch display, the Mi 9T boasts of a notchless display while retaining the same design aesthetic. The device comes with a triple rear camera setup with LED flash and there’s a pop-up camera mechanism for the selfie.

There’s no sign of a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device and no side image of the device to tell if a fingerprint sensor on mounted on the side of the device. However, we expect the device to incorporate an in-display fingerprint like the standard Mi 9.
There are no details on the hardware yet, but the device is expected to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and the main camera will most likely be a 48MP camera.
