WHAT IS XPOSED?
Xposed is a total package of Android developer tweaks. With Xposed Framework installed on your device, you’ll get access to unlimited features that aren’t present on your device. Some of these features are mostly found on custom ROMs.
Ever thought of installing a custom ROM on your Android device just to get that beautifully customized User Interface (U.I) or even go as far as tweaking individual apps to preferred taste? You could just save yourself some stress by just installing xposed. With over hundreds of Xposed modules out there, you simply can’t get enough of it.

Although lately many Android users still prefer staying on stock ROM and rarely root their devices, perhaps we experience much more satisfying compared to what we use to have in previous Android versions or it could just be a fear of having a bricked/malfunctioning device or probably because of the trendy OTA updates. Whichever the case may be, the abilities of a rooted android device cannot be underestimated.
HOW LONG WILL XPOSED FOR ANDROID 8.0 (OREO ) TAKE TO ARRIVE?
According to the developer rovo89, Oreo won’t take much modification from what Nougat required and should take more less time to complete. In his words, ‘I have already started work on Android 8.0. There are a few new language features that I’ll have to look at, but the general concept should still work. That includes all the work on invalidating compiled code of any callers when a method is hooked, which took by far the most time when I worked on Nougat. So I’m really confident that I’ll be much faster this time. Android 8.1 shouldn’t be much different, so I expect not much additional work for it’.
CONCLUSION
Whether on stock ROM or Custom ROM, you have so much power in your hands to customize your device to your taste. From general UI to status bar to notification bar and others. While all you need is a rooted device to get this functioning on your Nougat devices.
