The world first 144Hz display smartphone, ZTE sub-brand, Nubia, sub-brand Red Magic 5G has been made official and available for global pre-orders.
High screen refresh rates wasn’t a big feature to look for when choosing a smartphone to buy some time ago, but now, it seems to be one of the best features fans are craving for and ZTE Nubia Red Magic 5G has come to satisfy that need.
Nubia Red Magic 5G Gaming Smartphone
Nubia Red Magic 5G features a 6.65-inch 1080p AMOLED display with tiny bezels at the top and bottom like the Black Shark 3. It uses Corning’s Gorilla protection on the front and rear, and aluminum for the frame.
It comes with a triple camera setup on the rear, it consists of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. For the selfie camera, it houses an 8MP sensor.
The all-new gaming smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It runs the latest Android 10 and housed by a 4500mAh battery which comes with 55W fast charge support.

RedMagic 5G comes with a lot of gaming functionalities, the shoulder triggers is undoubtedly the best add-on on the phone. Others include, liquid cooling technology, turbofan to help the device maintain room temperature.
RedMagic 5G will be available in Eclipse Black, Hot Rod Red, Black, Mars Red, Cyber Neon, Transparent color options. The 8GB 128GB memory option will be available at $579 (approx, N223,000), and the 12GB 256GB memory option will go for $649 (approx, N250,000). The phone will available for purchase globally starting April 21st.
